I am really needing a larger rotor. I am using the Paul Martin on my kids cart and i wanted to get a larger disc. It is 7" now. The larger diameter would provide better braking i'm sure. I will link pics from there site, would you show me the one you are using? Thanks!

The Steering Box is a 11" rack from Dans Performance parts. Just got the roll cage back from powder coat yesterday afternoon. Just need to pick up some aluminum sheeting for panels yet.

Very nice. I love the color. How wide is the axle? Do you have any center support for it? Those bearings aren't the greatest even for a kids cart. I ran a 1" axle on mine but used three pillow block bearings instead. Your cart came out really cool and i'm sure you (i mean your kids) are gonna have a great time with it. More pics if you got em.

Thanks, the axle is 44" overall. We have used pillow block bearings in the past, but we thought we would try this style out. There is no center support at this time. Hopefully get some sheet metal on there this weekend.

Proto, I like your little buggy, but it looks to me that you might have some bump steer, have you checked?

There is maybe a 1/16" of bump steer, not enough to worry about. Put the aluminum panels on this weekend. Just need to add decals & fine tune. We test drove it saturday but kind of hard to see what it will do on ice.

Nice work Proto! That is very cool.

I think it would make a nice kit car or set of plans.
