I was browsing thru MBN and realized I never did a build thread on our MXT buggy.
This is the real budget one for kids or adults 6.5hp or 13hp or bigger. also did one with a 350 warrior motor and reverse

we have been building these for years, so nothing new.
Thought I should throw some of the actual build pics up to help other members with their builds

    edit: pics too big.

    will resize and post

Very nice, as much attention to detail as your big cars.

Just cool! If I was a kid (who says I'm not now) I would be in hog heaven to get one of these.

    super cool little buggy!

Curious about one thing I saw in this pic:

Why the grease fitting in the kingpin tube?? Am I missing something, or wouldn't that spin around the rod end joints and not the bolt??

Just wondering, not sure why I noticed that?? Very stout little buggy, well done!

I want to take a guess and answer this. So I'm assuming that it has a solid bolt that goes threw the whole spindle. Hence he added a grease zerk.
With the bolt and the heim positions. It would make the heim spin as the pivot. Neat way to do the spindles.

If I'm wrong. Please correct me. Just figured it since that's how my original track set up was.

That's how I see it too Chikin, and that means that the bolt does not spin in the kingpin tube. It would all rotate as a unit inside the rod ends.

In any case, awesome little buggy!!

Love the use of the Utility Channel for seat and pedal positioning! Very Clever!
