This post is really great and will become a sticky once it reaches the point where Tim says "stick it".

I'm going to print off each page and photo, then examine my cut-down wiring loom. How different could it be?

    Thanks Tim!

Alright. I have gone through my whole harness. Gathered all teh turn signals and various other thigns that broke off in the wreck, and that I took off. I have everything located, except for a few exceptions...

By the way, holy crap, thank you SO much for this writeup! You seriously are very generous. Posting that has probably sent ripples into the future mini market, because I have never done any wiring at all in my life, but now I feel capable to get this engine running.

Okay, here is my version of the first list. Then Ill post again with more info on the other lists. Also, below, in the same order, are the pictures of these sensors on my car. I left out the injector connections, coil connector, throttle position, and cam position sensors because they are obvious to point out. I don't think pics are needed. The others can be confusuing to someone who doesn't already know what to look for.

    1) Ambient air pressure sensor. Looks like its located somewhere near the rear of the bike. Its on the same harness as the ECU. Long wire connecting to it.
    2) Intake manifold pressure sensor. Sensor is located on the left side of the engine. IT has 1 hose coming off it, that splits into 4 different hoses, so that it can get an average reading between all 4 cylinders. Kinda cool.
    3) Engine operating temperature sensor. Located below the MAP sensor. (manifold pressure) down on the block behind the left most cylinder.
    4) Intake air temperature Located on the air box its self.
    5) Throttle position Obviously located on the throttle.
    6) Cam Position I didn't even check. Dont know where its located. I know its not disconnected on my engine.
    7) Power duh.
8)Cool Injectors connected if you can't figure out where the injectors are then please pay someone to do this.
    9) Coils connected 12345^^^^^^

    Pics....

    1. ambient air pressure sensor

    2. MAP sensor

    3. Engine temp sensor

    4. IAT sensor

And here is a HUGE ? What the living FCUK is this?

I cannot for the life of me find the plug that goes to it. It is located inside the air duct somwhere between the air box, and where the air comes in the bike. Please help!
