    It weights between 170 and 200 depending what your are considering part of the engine....including everything to make it run ie. throttlebodies, air box, filter, cpu, header, and so on it will be close to the 200 lb number...
    Being pushed to better yourself is never a bad thing.

    i have acces to a 4cyl honda civic engine, "free"
    run a buss trans midengine,

    i was reading a forum on glamis and they said the engine weighs about 275 lb, and 150 hp stock ,bolt ons easily to 300 hp.i would have to buy a adapter, i think is about 450.00, trying to find the site that makes them now. just considering this as a option.

    people are using transworks diffs i wouldnt be much more in weight probbaly 120 lbs.honda engine is aluminum i believe.

    hmmm,..I had a busa motor shipped to me without any of the fluids. It had all the wiring, battery, mounting hardware, and the crate which put the shipping weight at 174 pounds.....

    It is my understanding that the Civic motor is not used very much because it is a reverse rotation motor.

    Mine weighs just under 200 with everything (exhaust, oil cooler, rad, etc).
