I just found an 06 with 20k on the clock for $2500. It has everything (ECU, rectifier, wiring) but the gauges and header. It looks pretty clean to me.

I am hoping that my handlebar switches and my key ignition from my 750 will plug into the 06 harness. If not they are pretty cheap from what I've seen

that seems to be a reasonable ebay price for that, I paid $2600 for a gen 1 with 2500 miles on it did not include the wiring or intake.
it is possible to find them for less, a friend bought a running bike for $1800 and sold the wire harness, intake and his blown up engine to me for $500, I was planning to rebuild but with the cost of a crank, pistons rod gaskets that would have been around $2000 so I just bit the bullet and bought the ebay unit.

Not as of yet. I inquired about it to see if the bike was modified at all and it had a stretched swing arm. To me, that indicates that it MAY have been ridden pretty hard. My OCD and thinking too much to pull the trigger yet on that one. LOL

I am on my second Busa powered sand rail, there are issue with the tranny Pop out of 1st gear under a lot of Power but dont let it be a show stopper, there is a Guy in SLC Scott Horner @ Heads up Performance. He is a world speed record holder and sells under cut gears for a couple hunderd bucks, I have done them in both my cars and its not bad at all. I have a lot of extra parts if if you need something hit me up.
