Has any one considered using one of the the American v 4 engine in a buggy I'm planning on building a 2 seat megaladon and using this as a power plant. What do y'all think you can get specs at american v4.com... with a pro charger and 15psi of boost on 105 octane it should put out 300hp and really close to 300ft/lb

So do these vibrate so bad they destroy transmissions like the old Scat V4's?

They do have some vibration but it's quite a bit less than even a v twin

I'm sure they are not as smooth as the busa that most people seem to use

    Welcome Megav.

    Where are you livin?

Have you done some research on the megadon?

Arent people having a hard time getting in touch with them?

300 ft/lb sounds like a bit much for that chassis?

Well scratch that! I just read that you did get plans already.

I will give you my opinion. Id go with the Rorty racing two seater plans before megadon, but just my opinion.

Start a build thread so we can follow along.

I was wondering if it was to much for the chassis... I'm very new to these type of chassis all of my experience comes from drag cars and even that I have way more engine experience than chassis so I appreciate your opinion... I live in katy tx

Do you mind if I ask what it is about the chassis that makes you wonder what it is capable of handling and do you think it can be fixed

No real reason. Rortys cars just seem designed better to me.
