    Hello All

I have a 96 gsxr 750 and the stock petcock of which I don't have was also a vacuum fuel valve linked to the number 3 cylinder allowing only a certain amount of fuel through to the bowls. What I would like to know is is this vacuum fuel valve mandatory and is anyone running thier engine without it with sucess. I do not hastock fuel pump but have found one with the eact same specs as stock. Also if the vacuum fuel valve is mandatory does anyone know where to find one. Thanks in advance.

It's not mandatory. The purpose of the valve is not to meter fuel, but to stop fuel from flowing when the bike isnt running.
