Plan is to build something like a Rage Buggy and my Question is should i build the engine with a Turbo kit (i would have to do it after coming back from Afghanistan). Or should I go NA with cams, full titanuim exhaust, etc.... 80% road use, 20% offroad

Id be intrested in seeing where you got those number from. The 1000 numbers seem a bit inflated.

I have a hayabusa rail and there isn't a single 1000 that has ever touched it. Granted mine is turboed, but it is insane on what kind of power it makes. We are currently dialed down to 400hp, but the motor and turbo system is capable of 600.

One thing that you can do with a busa that you can't with a lot of other motors is build them to be bulletproof. Forged rods, case/head studs, billet transmissions, etc. allow you to build a motor that can handle just about anything you can put to it.
