    Howdy all,

Well... The time has come for me to move on with my world.

Would anyone like to take this forum over?

Right now I run it on my own dime and make no money off of advertising or the likes. There is a monthly fee I'm charged. That said, if you have a web site, you can host off of the same host MBN is on and also sell out hosting.

The place needs to be updated to the latest vBulletin version, ads can be inserted, I can help with getting things taken care of.

Hit me up if there's any interest otherwise I will probably be pulling the site off line around the beginning of 2023. It would be shame to loose so much valuable info.

I've dreaded the day that this announcement would be posted. Sites like Facebook, etc have basically sucked up all the oxygen and don't leave much for specialized forums that try to maintain a separate space.

Sorry, I can't take it over, but if it goes offline in early 2023, I'll be right beside you as you turn off the last light.

Question. Is it the money that's a problem?

How much a year is it?

Is all of the Yellow dog site coming down to?

I’ll have to go thru the quarterly charges but I want to say it runs about US$1k/yr to keep the place up and running.

I have YDR piggybacking on the MBN server so, yeah, probably poof-ka-boom on it too. I might look into another server service for it, though. If someone does take the site off my hands I was going to beg for a spot to keep YDR up.

I did it. - was totally in the dark when Amergin handed it to me.
I have a couple gurus that I use for the technical shit. I’d be glad to lend a helping hand as much as possible.

Unfortunately I'm in no position to take over. Sucks to see this place go, tons of builds on here (unfortunately a lot are still broken with no pictures that show up).

The wealth of knowledge that would be lost. Reminds me of a stunt website I used to frequent, there was so much information on every type of motorcycle you could imagine. Stunt riders tend to be a little hard on motorcycles..lol

Dang that sucks. I wish I could help. I still read old threads regularly for some great info that cannot be found anywhere else. I don't use FB but I hear that its basically just taken over this sort of thing, I have seen similar things happening to VW and ATV forums too.
