While i can't put down the race course, organization nor the competitors, I think that this year's was ruined by jackhammer. That back up pretty much turned it from being a race for everyone entered into a race for the first 10-15 on course and then not much more of a 1 to 1.5 lap ride for everyone else. I hope that after seeing that mess the organizers have 2 to 3 bypass routes available at all times with the appropriate penalty for taking them. either that, or a specific lap each competitor has to tackle sections like jackhammer, ct and the others with cars assigned an A, B,C route in alternating fashion so that the so the traffic jams don't occur or are at least minimized. Hell of a ride, i managed to watch about 75 percent of it, but race, well not really ...

i agree it was ruined by jackhammer that was a bad back up.

but as many of the other races the back up could have been avoided or atleast mitigated by fellow racers helping each other.

unfortunatly i did not get ANY of my vehicles done in time to take them so i just took a minibike and went with friends that where racing.

motorswap suzuki samurai took me longer then usual
motorswap 1985 toyota longer then expected
and motorwork and lift fix 1982 toyota

i also think the race has gotten so big that main event should or could be run in 2 days and just be run off of time completed
