The second installment this morning on how to do stuff here.
It seems that when I try to watch some of the YouTube videos posted here on MBN, I end up with a blank screen and a browser bar full of garbage.
Anyone else have this issue? Is is a MacBook problem? Dunno.
So I sat here and experimented and think I may have found a fix.
Take a look at rgvkid's Trophy Kart post. Notice how it's all screwed up and and the text is below the regular window?
I think I've figured out the issue with it.
For some reason when you link from YouTube, it wants to use https in stead of http
Don't have a clue why...
Now I've found that if I post just post the original location and then go back and remove the https (which it automatically posts for some reason), I get a working video that plays and doesn't take me to some funky long winded window or screw up the frame in the post.

What's interesting is that all I posted was YouTube (snipping the rest out so you can see the syntax.
So next time you post up a video off of YouTube, try snipping everything prior to www and just place it in your text. Seems that vBulletin goes ahead and does the url link stuff.

Thanks for the heads up!
I stopped using the share link because it only shows the link back to youtube site.
But if I copied the link from the address bar, it will post it along with the viewer as seen above.
I'll try your trick next time if I have the problem your talking about. But I have yet to deal with that problem on my end from Windows Desktop.Roketa LT Conversion

I'm finding that if I just use everything from www on, and don't use the link button or anything else and paste it, the video comes up and works fine. No http or https
I just edited one and this is what I put in the post (w/o the spaces)
w w w . you tube. com/ watch ?v=vkbkVI5Ki-E&feature= youth . be
It will go ahead and do all the link stuff from there. Here's how it posts it once you hit submit (once again, w/o the spaces)
[url ] https: // w w w .you tube. com /watch?v=vkbkVI5Ki-E&feature=youtu.be [/ url]
Don't know if it's a vBulletin thing or what, but it does seem to work.
Weird computer crap.
