Each state is different .......go to your DMV and get their info for kit cars. You will need all the regular stuff like head lights, turn signals, horn, brake lights.....from there some states can be very picky....others...just slap a plate on and go!

Double check on the windshield. Some places will allow plexiglas and others insist on safety glass. (even though a motorcycle rider can use sunglasses or a face shield or nothing depending on state). Because its a "car" it may "need" a windshield of some type.

Some places also REQUIRE front brakes. A misunderstanding cop or DMV inspector might miss that and let you register it. But if you get in a wreck and cause damage you can bet the lawyers won't if front brakes are a requirement there.

Some places also require a differential to be on the road. A speedometer is normally also needed. Fenders may be an issue somewhere. *Bill
Now that NOBAMA has PROVEN he is the absolute WORST president in the history of history Jimmy Carter can thank him for stealing the dunce crown.

Lets hope the next guy repeals NObama care along with the rest of the stupid crap this blight on our windshield has done.

My Dad built a hot rod n California. No fenders are required as long as the weight is less than something like 1,500 lbs. He had someone rig a scale for him and print out a slip that was less. There are some silly things though. He has a windshield but it's made out of Plexiglas and is only about 4 inches tall. They wanted a wiper on it. He filled out the paperwork at the DMV and paid the fees and a guy came out and put a brand new VIN number on it. I don't think the guy looked real hard at much, but if it's got a windshield, apparently it needs a wiper too.
