Its Andros trophy Ice racing in france, not sure what the buggys are, like bdkw1 says look like the ones used in the race of champions with honda blackbird engines. I think this year they are running some of them with electric motors and women drivers.

Ive done some snooping around but it's hard to get solid info on these things (unless you speak french). I think theyre possibly all CBR600's assembled in France and compete in Kartcross.

To me they look like a bucket load of fun and if theyre being produced in quantity they may be quite reasonably priced. From video clips on youtube etc they look like theyre getting invitations to compete and do demos all over the place.

I would like to see one of them without the panel work.

There are a number of manufacturers of cross cars/crosskart. The class is run in spain, france, portugal and holland with some differences, so no european championship, just national. In france there are 3 classes: 650cc [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_2CV:2cxe5vrw]Citroën 2cv[/url:2cxe5vrw] engined (30-40hp), 500cc bike like Honda CB500 and Kawa GPZ500 (50-60hp) and 600cc supersport (~100hp).
