Once this is done and gone I will start car#2....

The body is on its way, this is not the one i have but a resembling photo, I have to build the chassis "stamped side rails" Box them in a weld cross members in... Drop the 460 in it.... And then the finishing touches, 75% bolt on parts, 25% bugpac parts....

Does this mean that you're out of the mini-buggy world? *Or do you plan on doing another off road vehicle?
Did you decide that you didn't enjoy your car or just decide that you've "Been there, done that", so it's time to move onto another project?
Sorry for the mulit-questions, but curiosity is probably killing a bunch of us.

Cool! *You know I have been thinking hard about a project like that too ... a muscle car or a kit car or maybe even get really crazy and do a Viper Jet. *Where are you getting the body from?

You're serious about parting out your buggy? *What happened?

Just tired of this buggy in particular, I am not enjoying it, I found building it was far more enjoyable than trying to fix it...I am building another buggy, this time there wont be any cut corners..I am just waiting for the plans to come about, Im not artistic enuff to make my own design....

This 32 car i am getting is from a friend, he molded a steel body car yrs ago....This particular body pictured is about 6500.00, I traded a 53 chevy a while back for mine, the stipulation was i had to help on the 2 days process to mold the body....Were going to do that in about 2 weeks, it will consume 20 hrs in one weekend to get it done.....I have an old motorhome that has a rebuilt 460 in it....Im looking at about 10k to build this car, he just sold the last one he built for 25k....The projected income from the 32 will fit the buggy nicely with a rpm box, and a cvt driven engine.....I hope to have a complete hot rod "rat rod" actually by march....I speculate the plan built buggy to take about 4 months, all depends when the master gets the final details done to the drawing.....I would consider selling the complete car....

If kfab shits and gets off the pot, maybe i will have a yellowdog built stadium lite....

That's really nice - what hot rodding was all about. Why 'rat'?

See the little Fiat Topolino tucked in there? They're another nice little car to have fun customising. I've seen a few of them done as sleepers with Fiat twin-cam engines and even V8s too!

Rat rods are more cost effective to build, and have more of a daily driver attitude, and seems in the us market, the rat is getting far more popular, or its just that the old 50 60s guys are the ones that have any money....

Tu tech, I definetly am building another buggy....I really enjoy doing it....
