I got to thinking before I posted bringing food in the summer is a hassle, and I love to cook...been writing a cookbook for about 7 years...and known statewide for my pickles beefjerky and smoked turkeys/fish for those who are interested in the DOG DAYS RIDE let me know what you would like to munch on...
I'm thinking of offering samples, for those who ask...I can seal pak and send in the mail...so let me know what you think![]()

I Posted this a while back, I wasn't meant as a joke post...I was asking about what foods you like to eat when out buggying, Becase what is the biggest hassle when your going to be out and about? IMO it's the food...So my solution to the hassles of bringing food to the dog days get together would be.....Everybody who is thinking of coming tell me what theyre favorite foods are... I could put together a menue and buy the goods in bulk, Saving every body money...hence you don't have to pack a cooler,I have built a smoker,(well many) and can fit 2 18 -20 pound turkeys in it at once, I think 6 whole chickens...I make my own brats from scratch, Also I have won several chili cook offs nothing nationally but locally around the state...I grow all of my own spices...Except pepper corns.
EVEN IF YOUR NOT COMING TO DOG DAYS Toss your opinion out there It might jog somebody's memory...thanks

Jerky with a side of jerky by far the best buggying snack food ever. I wish youre ride wasn't so far away for me the only thing better than buggy riding is buggy riding with food back at camp.
side note: have you had a chance to look over my cage makeover?
