My buddy who helped me build my buggy a decade ago now lives in California and is interested in taking ownership of my buggy. He lives in Ridgecrest and has places to ride from his house. However getting the buggy from Pittsburgh PA to Ridgecrest CA is looking difficult and/or expensive. Neither of us has time to make that drive. I put it on uship and the only quote I have so far is $1k. Does that seem reasonable? Anyone have a good contact or shipping carrier they have used before?

I own a Buick T-Type and a lot of the guys on the buick board have used this company, No bad reviews as far as i've seen.

TB guys are pretty picky with their cars.

They have an online cost calculator, not sure if they have a buggy category, but worth a try, even if just for a price comparison.

They only have cars to choose from for the calculator, but I picked an older small car and the quote was $1200. I don't think they would be able to handle the bins of parts that go with the buggy.

I had to make a few different listings to get shippers interested, and found I got the best results with naming a price and letting shipper accept it, because anyone that bid on it would aim high. I was able to find a shipper on uship, in the end the cost with fees and insurance will be around $850.

Yeah, I forgot about spares. Price is high too.

Hey, can you give me an aprox. address where you live? I've been to Pittsburgh a few times now since my daughter is at Pitt and I'm just curious where your at.

Close or neighborhood is good. You can PM if you don't want to advertise, or you can tell me to f off! lol!
