I'm upgrading to coilovers and finding a variety of spring manufacturers out there that offer the length and weight I need for roughly the same price. Is there any "good" or "bad" manufactures out there ?

I bought some cheap springs ( I can't remember the Mfg.) but they didn't hold up well.

My current car has King coils and they have held up very well and I am not easy on my car either. LOL

All spring makers have issues. Hypercoils is about the top of the line. Eibach is next. PSC are good also. Viper coils are about the bottom of the list.

King uses at least 3 different manufactures for there springs.

I've always had good luck with Hypercoils. I went out on a limb however for my buggy project and got qa1 springs based on some friends reviews. The "high travel" springs are made in the USA (or so they claim), and are currently on sale at speedway motors! They have a lifetime warranty that stipulates they will maintain their rate/height within 2%. I think they were about $50/spring for both 10 and 12" lengths when I ordered last month, which seemed to be very well priced when comparing to others.

    Thanks for the feedback!

iflytii, If you wouldn't mind, could you post back your thoughts on how the QA1 springs are?

Take a look at AFCO, they have some good stuff for coilovers as well. Sometimes you can get them on sale from speedwaymotors.
