Cool, the 30" tire should work for most mini's too. It is impossible to find an aggressive tread nowadays in anything under a 33-35" tire.

Now find someone that sells them for me, would ya Bull?

I have a cousin that's in the tire business - works for BFG. I sent him a text message as soon as I read the article. It'll be interesting to see what he can tell me. 30x9.5x15 is PERFECT for the Mini-Raptor.

I have a cousin that's in BFG corporate - mainly involved with distribution. He was able to give me a place to go to get info:

Jackson Motorsports Group will be selling them. They're not on the web site yet.

I talked to a guy there today who told me that the tires won't be available until August and they don't have pricing yet. They were tested at the Baja 500 and did extremely well. He said that BFG was in the process of getting all the final crap done and then they'd release them.

I was able to get on a mailing list and in line for a set. If you want them, I'd say get in touch with Jackson and get on the list.

Now we need some decent 15" wheels that don't weight 25 lbs, and have a high positive offset.

Should I drive over to HiPer and hassle them to make a 15" wheel again? It's been a coupe of years since the last time I called them.

The carbon reinforced plastic wheels from MRT that I had on My Toyota years ago were 17.5 pounds for a 15 X 8 double beadlock wheel.
