I've seen it a lot lately many people asking about posting pics. I made this today hoping that it helps some people.
This method uses photobucket, it actually stores the pictures, and when you post on this forum the link you add to the thread shows the pic from your photobucket account, so you don't need to upload anything to minibuggy.net.
This method requires a photobucket account, which is free. I typically take pictures with my phone, then use the photobucket app, upload the pics directly from my phone (android) to my photobucket account. That way I don't need to hook up cables or any of that nonsense.

Step one, upload your new picture to your photobucket account, then go to that picture. On the right side of the page you will see the share links area, I use the direct link method. Just click on direct link and it will copy that link to the clipboard.

Now go back to minibuggy.net, to your thread and click the image icon as shown.

Then use CTRL V to paste the link into the box as shown

then you will see a similar type link as shown. Type your message before or after that thread and then it is complete.

I looked around the site and did a search for where the Sticky is located for "posting photos with photobucket".
    I could not find it.
I also would like to learn how to post photos since I am moving along on a build.
    Thanks

I have never used a forum to host pics as sooner or later that forum will crash and those pics are lost.

With this method, the pics are still there with the information. Photobucket makes it's money hosting pics so it is a much better way to go.

I've been struggling to get this to work on the new forum.
I found that if the check box "retrieve remote file..." was check it would throw an error every time. I unchecked it an now it works from photobucket and rorty.net
    Hopefully it helps someone else!

If you check the box it wants to save the pic on the MBN server. I've not figured out how to disable that either.
dont check the box and it will just use the URL location and post the pic.

    its a pain...

So Is there a way to upload without PBucke to where the image is actually visible?
I thought there was a way to do it on the old site version but it's been awhile since I've posted anything.

What I found is that if you preview post, you can see the pictures, but on the new forum format, I have not been able to do that.

Has Photobucket being a dick to you lately? It would not let me upload new pictures. It kept bringing me back to the log in screen. Pissed me right off. .LOL I went to IMGUR to upload my pics.

    This is a test:

    attachment.jpg

I figured out how to add a pic from my computer, it doesn't show, but it its here. You can only do it through the " go advanced".

Photobucket is crazy stupid lately, but if your patient, it will work just like it always did. You can still copy the link and post it direct to your thread, no need for little icon buttons or anything fancy.
