    edge and badlands help

Here the thing I've been wanting to do a buggy for couple years. I like the piranhas and cuda, and the st2 ng and sabretooth. My grandpa has a junk yard and he has like 5 old beetles. And I have a couple bike motors 600cc up to my uncles old kz1000. My ? Is which buggy plans would allow me to scavange as many parts off the beetles as possible cutting the cost of CAD parts. I have the metal for the frame part covered. Tryin to keep the rest of the build under $1500.00 USD. I Plan on using this buggy mainly on trails so no need for too much travel as I live in NY SO NO DUNE. Lol

    Thanks for the help.

Well you could probably adapt them to either buggy but I think the piranhas more compact than the st2 so would need smaller parts like the beetles? I'm not entirely sure but good luck

Take the body off one of the bugs, shorten the pan,add a rollcage and it will rock on tight trails.

Sorry not much help but thats what I would do.

All I can say is Badlands has better quality plans than Edge.

    Hope that helps a bit.

I have the Edge Baracuda plans and the Badlands ST4 plans but I haven't built either one, but I do agree with Fatal Excxeption, the Badland plans look easier to fallow although I do like the look of the cuda better.

That's what I'd do! Parts will be dirt cheap(free for you since you have the junkyard), lots of aftermarket support, front end is already there, etc.
