I have not built one, but I have built a barstool racer, and various motorized scooters. 20hp is too much for a motorized cooler, you can use a 30 to 50cc honda 4stroke and still go decent, chainsaw engine will also work. Unless you plan on hauling kegs with it.

Wheels has a build along this line. It's not a cooler, but it's cool.

Cooler cruiser project has been back-burnered for now. I still think about it quite often, but haven't moved forward with anything.

I've got too many other motorized vehicle projects going on right now. This was supposed to be a 'slow winter, time filler' project.. Well, with sleds and building a new stand up jetski, that wasn't the case.

ill check those threads out. i decided on the 20hp enginge because well i have it sitting here and itd be cool haha. yeah i was thinking of putting go kart tires on it etc, though in the end it may just be way to much so i might just stick to a small one.
    thanks for the help guys

I built one, maybe not what you are thinking of. I went with a simple trike design using the back end of a wrecked 49cc scooter.
It ended up with a 200l esky (52 gal cooler for non Aussies) up front with the front wheels from two donor scooters finishing the rolling bits.
This video is at my brothers farm.
