Well after nearly a year my kids have decided they want a two seater.
So I'm gonna change the frame and fab up a two seater.
What I have done so far:
    Obtained 13 Hp predator motor
    40 series torque converter
    Comet reverse gear box
I' will be using the s10 cv's and hubs.
I re drilled the hubs to match the wheels I have 4 on 110mm
I have made some flanges to match the bolt pattern on inboard side of the cv's
I'm hoping to have the track width of around 55" or so.
Not sure whether to go with semi trailing a arms, a-arms, or a three link.
    I'm considering giving the3 link a shot

That is a cool project. Heck, you could probably sale the one seater frame, if you aren't using it.

Was wondering what happened with your original thread. Glad your back at it! Looking forward to what you come up with next.

How did you end up making the spool? Are you using a splined shaft or a Keyway?

I'm thinking because of the moderately low HP a 1" keyed shaft would work, but I am open to suggestions. I am planning on turning down the back side of the cv shaft adapters to accept some brake rotors.
Cv adapters are 6061 t-6 aluminum.

My other idea was to fab up to rotor hats for the wheel hubs themselves

Well it looks like I have the track width set around 52 to 54 inches wich should be pretty good for trail riding. Does anyone know the max angle for the s10 cv's?

With that small of setup, you'd probably be good with just a single brake rotor and street bike motorcycle caliper at the spool.

What did you use for the inner cv adapters?

You should have enough on your setup there to check S-10 CV angles. Just droop it and rotate the wheel until you feel 1 or the other cv begin to bind. That's full degree.

You may be able to get a bit more width out of the spool to get a bit wider track for better stability. I'd push for marketing the track just wide enough to fit in the back of a full size truck bed. Then no worry of having to haul a trailer and still have a good size width.

Then again, wider the spool thicker it needs to be.
