Hey guys... thought i'd share alittle project i'm working on.

I had a small 4 wheeler that didn't run, so i thought i'd use it for parts and build a camp ground cruiser. just something to tool around the camp grounds on.

I consider this to be practice for the full size mini buggy i plan on building.

    4 wheeler:

was going to cut the frame up and build off of it... but, nothing was straight on the frame, so i decided to build a new frame:

I also bought a 6.5 hp clone engine from Harbor freight that i'm going to use(never could get the 4 wheeler engine to start):

and of course, it wouldn't be any fun if i couldn't have long travel: (stock a-arms vs. new a-arms)

just finished the whole front end minus the steering:

    and one for size reference:

that's it for now... thanks for looking.

edit: mod's... if you need to move this into another section, please do.

nut, I haven't finished the top half of the frame yet. when finished, i will be sitting on top of the roof.

I got the idea here: No exactly a SXS... - Yamaha Rhino Forum - Rhino Forums.net but, i thought i would go ahead and use suspension.

This thread belongs in Projects in Progress and should be a good lesson in recycling and innovation.

    Nice work and good thinking!

thanks Gene and Mx... if you're asking who's in the chair(might have misread that), it's my wife sitting over there reading... and reverse would be nice to have, for sure.
