Can someone please post a pic of their Air box mounted on their Viper. I can't figure out how this thing was mounted?

Man I threw my 250 away long time ago. I still have the joyner but it has a much nicer plant in it. Go over to buggycountry.com and start a thread. Just about everyone there has a joyner. I'm sure one will have pics for you

I went and ordered a stage 1 kit which comes with a Uni Filter, Elbow and 2 Main Jets. The stock box looks like an air choker to me

Ok, here we are. Installed the coil, routed the fuel line without the filter temporarily and turned the key. She started right up without issue. I took her around the block and could only get her into H and ran like a dog, I could put her into L, but with struggle and then it would just make a grinding sort of noise in the tranny. I would put it into reverse and it moved as normal but can't get it out unless I shut the motor off and switch gears, then start back up. Also, once I shut her down, some smoke started coming out of the left cover (belt inside) rear opening.

What do you all think? Shot Clutch? Something else?
