This was from our MINI motorcycle event at my new shop. This Yamaha R1 I have had to repossess it twice and the last time it was not safe or reliable to resale. So for a little marketing we painted it gold and put a smoke bomb tire on it. (Yes it does have a beer holder). I suck at the social media marketing and I was hoping this helps get my motorcycle shop followers.![]()

Cool burnout, but from a marketing standpoint, I would have thrown a cage and a big sprocket on it and sponsored a local stunt rider
You could've put your shops name all over it.

For sure you should only have people work on your stuff that you trust. I see you are in Arizona and if you look at my shop reviews (dwnnout.com) and talk to other people in this market. You will see that I take great pride in safety and customer service. I finance people with credit scores as low as 350. So if someone does not pay their bill I repossess the bike.....This guy owed me $4000 on this bike and he did not keep insurance and he totaled it. Now I am out $$$$ and I picked up this clapped out POS. It was not safe to ride over 15mph. Now I will keep this bike at my shop for a conversation peace to let my customer know. If I am financing someone and they do not pay or keep insurance on it. This is what a happens.....But again I fully understand for how dangerous motorcycles can be. You need to only have someone you trust work on your bike......P.S. If you are ever in the area of my shop stop by I love to meet fellow "minibuggy" people. 15010 N Cave Creek Road Phoenix Az 85032

I'd have rather seen that engine in a buggy...on eBay it was worth a grand by itself. Seems like a waste :/

The motor had bottom end noise prior to this and the frame was cracked.
As far as ebay I will never sell a motor on ebay again. 2 months ago I sold a hayabusa motor from a crashed bike. I had a video of it running and listed that milage unknown, As is, No refunds....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnkUwwkbcH4
The guy bought it and shipped it across the country and the guy told ebay he installed it and it did not have the power he thought. He said he pulled the motor down to the crank and he wanted me to buy him new pistons and rods....Ebay pulled the full amount out of my account and gave him a full refund. I fought with ebay for weeks and was told I could pay the $300 to have the motor shipped back to me...I figured if I paid the shipping I would get a motor back in pieces.
