Great story ... Takes me back to my days as an AM radio news reporter. Cops hate when stories like that make the press ... they tend to end up with headlines like " Aussie says US cops can't keep it up!" And of course we always had to call them to roll some tape and get a mucho appropriate sound bite for the story. Always loved having something like that land in my lap. Right to the AP and ABC and an hour later Paul Harvey's got it nationwide.
Plus a couple extra bucks for the rights.

First cop sounds like a bike hater, great story though. First thing I would have said, in the words of Shaggy, WASN"T ME!!! lol I mean he passed the cop 40 mile ago, going in the opposite direction, at 110, and the cop was likely speeding too.

Tiny post in the same style. Nothing like the first but my brother in law's family build and race boats. They hired a cheap motor boat on there trip to the US to cruze about on a lake. When they took it back to the owner they commented that with a few changes they got it up out of the water and moving ok. The owner of course didn't believe them. I'm told as the boat came on to the surface and shed all its drag the owner glued himself to the floor of the boat and screamed for them to stop. LOL
Its not uncommon for them to tune single seat race boats with one driving and the other holding onto the hull of the boat with a laptop making changes at 110mph. It's nothing to them. Just part of the job. Some of the Southern 80 boat motors they build are insane. Water cooled pre turbo header pipes with a double jacket for water cooling to stop them deforming with heat. A 20mins race with 90% full throttle is a killer. All dressed up and waiting for the beer to arrive.
