I really like the looks of these buggies. Have you ever considered a big quad engine instead of an industrial?

Thanks, yes I have considered quad engines in this frame.
Also 4 stroke snowmobile engines. There is room to do either
we did a 450 quad engine in our XK450 model and it performed great
in our gallery scroll to the green and black XK450 album

Do you always use a swingarm rear? How much different does it feel compared to independent?

The MXT, FXT, XK450 models have swing arm style rear suspension
the DXT, XK1000 ,SS1000, SS630R models all have dual A arms on the rear
Dual A arm is a better ride, but swing arm is more budget friendly
