Not an EBK, but real close

Saw this car at Glamis New Years, the guy was familiar with the EBK, sounds like they were able to copy one pretty good, it's made of smaller tubing, probably much lighter, it's got a CBR1000 in it, Said that he built it with Joe Fab.
    Does anyone recognize it?

Yes, For sure he did build it with Joe (Sandlimo)...I have been to Joe's shop many time during this build. It is really just a mixture of things. He work with joe at the shop at glamis....I was their thanksgiving and it is pretty cool to see them doing on the spot quick fixed to get people back up and riding...

It's nice to have a shop that can weld there, but it's not like Dirty Bob's in the old days, they wanted $60 to do an inch long weld, good that I bring extra rides so I can wait and fix later.
this was when everyone was standing around, seems like $20 would have been reasonable and better to make that than nothing.

I take my welder with me to the dunes. It's come in handy every trip, mainly on friends toys and trailers!
I really should put up a sign "Welder" next time I go! $

BLM will want a piece of the action, they are just a form of organized crime.

New Years Eve, I was at the hill, a Bike rolled in the bottom and immediately the red and blue lights came on behind him, he stopped.... for a minute, then took off, ranger buggy in hot pursuit, he went out in the dunes behind then turned made a pass up the hill, looped around and came down then out into the dunes headed towards the washes.

Here I thought the Rangers were there for safety and then they are out chasing someone's kid putting his life in danger, hope he got away but it would be tough on a bike at night, lights are bad.

the guy on the bike should have waited until the ranger got unbelted and climbing out of the car, then do a 180 and take off, oh hind sight, it's always 20-20.

I'm actually OK with the Rangers being more in abundance. It used to get pretty bad when there were less Rangers around.
The way I see it is, if your not doing anything wrong then you don't have a reason to take off and run.
Majority of the reason people are getting harassed is because they're Drinking. I've been stopped a couple times but I'm always polite, cordial, have paper work, and not drinking or drunk.
They confiscated my friends Truggy/Crawler last year, but he had no tags or Paper work. I told him to make sure he had his paperwork info prior to going, but he didn't listen!

I like going on Holiday weekends because its like a huge Carshow, but it can get sketchy some times when people get stuck trying to go through The Alley into Olds, then all their dumb friends park right next to them and take up the pathway getting through rather then staying in line or off to the side of the main thoroughfare.
The Alley is actually a cool spot to kick it on top of the hill and watch all the close calls and or people getting stuck when they try to take their stock Trucks and cars into olds. It's a good show!
