I spent 3 weeks playing Columbo- finally found and spoke to the owner (Goot). Asked him to consider tacking a frame together for us, and we would drive to SoCal and pick it up.

    Never heard back from him,

You want an EBK- follow the trail, study the pictures, do your research- and build your own from scratch.

Don't get me wrong, was a really nice guy to talk to. Just seemed to be very dis-interested in building buggys anymore. Sounded like life had taken him in a different direction, and we were all good with knowing we had to build from scratch if we really wanted something like the EBK.

This is the 1st of 2, this one gets an R6 carbed. The second car will be a late model GSXR injected- at least that's the plan.

EBK was sold to someone in the UK. The website is still up but not sure if they build anymore.

Vorra, great job on the build. Front A-Arm pivot points look in line with top and bottom. Are you getting Positive Camber at full bump?

Jody's Proto spool, with plunging axles. Would love to see someones motor mounts for the R6. Leaning towards a micro sprint layout right now.

Yeah, we were negotiating with the guy in the UK as well. Shipping was the deal breaker on that go. Guess thats all a bust, because the cars were built with all USA fasteners and such. He told me it's really tough to get replacement parts as everything is metric on the other side of the pond. That Kart Cross shit is big in Europe, theyre just not really into long travel cars. Pity!

    Digging this one back up.

Midnite, Which EBK style were you looking for? I might have one coming up for sale soon. It is the standard version(not the larger chassis) with a Honda 250ex quad engine in it.

Let me know if you are interested.

Hey Bruce, the car looks good. I wish Imwould have had time to build you a chassis but just super busy right now. I would like to build some more cars for sure. I have been getting many requests lately . Here are a couple videos from a very successful race car we built in Australia.
