Not sure if you saw the post but someone just bought a complete EBK that was built by one of my guys for himself with a Gsx 750 for a great price.

Bruce I just read your message about the ride heights and the plunging axels. We would run between 10"-13" clearance at ride height with 29" tires. The plunging axles have been very strong and easy to maintain, they were able to achieve more angulation than a cv joint. With the short axles a few extra degrees made a differance in travel. If you are willing to give up some travel you can run 930 cv joints.

Also EBK was not sold to anyone. A dealer in the UK was going to try to sell the cars, but wanted the cars shipped with no motors and was going to try to finish them himself but it was more than he was capable of doing there. Maybe some day soon I will build some more cars.thanks for your interest !!!

Bob, thanks for the response. Exactly what I was hoping to hear.
Now I need to find somewhere to pickup some flange plates (930 pattern) to fab the axles. I've got a local driveline shop thats willing to work with us. Any ideas ?
You'd sure have some takers if you ever decided to make the EBK again. Those guys at Hall are supposed to be making the UTK with a 600 cc motor-maybe another avenue for some guys to get into racing on a budget. You could compete in that market for sure.....

Bruce, I have been getting more and more requests with the success of the race cars that are doing well. The flanges are easy to get if your looking for the ones that would be used on the trans side.

Are you looking for flanges or plates with the 930 pattern. Do you have any recent pics of your car

Bob, I need plates that have the 930 pattern. Yes, with the width of the car I would have to give up travel with the 930 CV- so the plunging axle is the solution. My drive line guy said he could fab plunging axles for me no problem - just didn't have a source for plates that have the 930 pattern to marry the yokes to. I'm running a Protodie live axle / center carrier - 930 cv pattern. I took some pictures of the axles you ran on your cars, as well as pics of the Jess CV and he said no problem. These are a few snaps of where I'm at on the car. Your thoughts ?

I should have the plates. The car looks great, it looks strangely familiar!! You didn't need me to build you a chassis.

Thanks Bob,, that comes as a huge compliment. I've studied the EBK to the point of headache, nothing a few shots of Anejo wouldn't cure. LOL
Let me know what we can do on the plates.
