It's a fun little buggy for sure!

I checked last night and my ratio is 3.2:1 from the engine to the axle. I'm not sure if the FNR built into the engine changes the ratio from the output of the engine you are using.

Thats sounds about right actually. The ATC it came out of was 3.9:1, and I am dropping it to 6.2:1with a 5.6:1 option. I don't think Honda changed the internal ratio with the hi/lo/rev box, but can't be too sure. I am told the quads actually had a higher final drive ratio.

Buggy is up for sale if anyone is interested.

Sadly, the ride is just too harsh for my wife (who now has a bad back since the birth of our last child). I'd love to modify this one, or build a new one, but spare time is nowhere to be found these days. I'm looking at that new Polaris Ace as a nice little buggy for her. She sure deserves it

I'm planning on building a Trax 2 and I'm wondering if you used the
30mm x 30mm x 1.6mm wall square tube for the chasis that the plans call for. It seems a little small and thin. If that is what you used how has it held up

I actually used 1"x1" 0.095 wall for the lower frame. I had it braced up in a lot more places than what the plans called for though.
