    What are you using for a chain tensioner?

    Curious if there is any discussion on what people are using for chain tensioners besides a ecentric type or slider. Pictures would be great... Older short sand car I have has a nylon roller wheel. But no adjustment..?? chain seems loose. How much slack should there be? 1/2'' or so ????

    About 1/2" up or down slack. My Sick car had a roller that moved up and down a series of fixed holes. Poor design IMO.

    Most discusion here is about how crappy tensioners these are - crappy. A sliding carrier or one that rotates in some way seems better.

    Yoshi has a concentric version like a quad and is developing lower cost alternatives. He should comment soon . . .
