Building a GK-06 with a CBR600 F4i engine. Looking for a FNR or Transmission option. I read Arrowhead's post but some pictures and information is missing so anyone that could fill me in on what transmission and linkage parts I need would be great. Or other options that I havent discovered yet. Thanks for any help given

Does anyone happen to have pictures of Arrowheads rear end setup on his Busa build?. Looking to see how he mated the honda transmission to the bike engine.

Sorry I don't have any answers for you, I was just thinking that's going to be a heavy setup. You will essentially have 2 whole transmissions. I'm guessing the 600 engine alone is going to be pretty heavy for that buggy suspension.

    My failed efforts on it
    Honda transmission ?

running less HP through it will help, But as LIDUNO says its heavy and a lot of work

Im in final stages of designing a FNR chain drive box with a posi locker differential installed with a 2:1 reduction so this allows for larger sprocket fitted to Box to gain required ratios you need
This will put a larger length chain on the set up to aid in chain temps and easy ratio changes

If anyone feels like going through the work of taking the whole motor apart, it may be an option to lock the bike motor in one gear and remove the rest of the unused transmission bits if they're planning on mating it to a different transmission. I know the snowmobile team at my college did this once and mated it to the CVT in the sled. Just an idea for weight savings, for what it's worth

Im looking into this, arrowhead used chain and sprocket to link the 2.

I dont have much space so was gonna try to link the shafts together with a sleeve, I would need a gearbox out of a car that has it on the passenger side though (im in the uk).

I have been wondering about the clutch on the 2nd gearbox, can you only change gear stationery or will the clutch from the bike stop the gearbox internals turning as well?
