Brake cleaner will degrease them better than most things if you wish to really clean them and try red locktite again if nothing else works
Now that NOBAMA has PROVEN he is the absolute WORST president in the history of history Jimmy Carter can thank him for stealing the dunce crown.

Lets hope the next guy repeals NObama care along with the rest of the stupid crap this blight on our windshield has done.

I'd go with the Nordlocks also, but like BD said you have to torque them, its how they work.

If you try cleaning and locktite again, use the primer.

Safety wire done right will keep them from turning and if they come loose without turning then you have another problem altogether!

If everything is cleaned up really well, red loctite should hold, with the proper torque applied to the bolt.Hell, I've seen Loctite hold where lock washers wouldn't! Yea, just like nutz4sand said

Can't take complete credit for that one, a buddy of mine from NZ has an old Jimco 10 car that he stuffed a 3.5L Nissan twin turbo V6 in. He runs 934's with 35" tires. It puts out 670ish HP to the ground (if it ever finds traction bad things will happen). Nordlocks were the only way he could keep the CV's from coming loose.

Well, the Nord-Locks worked for a while. I had three of six come out and the other three were loose! Will just check them daily now.

Thanks. Was also thinking of tapping a little larger to see if holds better.
