Go look under the Drawing Room section of the site. There are quite a few discussions on CAD there.

Ok thank you I was thinking of using the bend tech se bundle from what I can tell this would allow me to design everything and it would actually give me tubing length bend location and direction... what I don't know is if it will allow me to import files to make sure my engine and Tran will fit and if it will allow me to check my camber

If your looking for free, Fusion360 is probably the most popular from what I can tell from following people on multiple boards that use it. And it has a HUGE following, so getting issues solved is no problem.

I've drawn a few parts with it.

I don't think BT will do what you want. At least, the older SE I have wont.

Thanks so much for the help I'm new to this... I've done fabrication work before but only fixing something that was already there never building something from nothing. The software doesn't have to be free but it fusion 360 will do what I want and it free then that more money for more tools and more parts I can always find places to spend saved money lol. My original plan was to just buy plans and start building but after being on this forum for a few weeks and going thru the build y'all are doing I decided I need to step up my game there is some serious talent on this board

Like others have mentioned ... Fusion 360. I use it a lot and am very satisfied with it.
