    Red face
    Hi All.

I have very limited CAD experience (mostly Autocad). I have some dxf files for laser cutting of some custom components for my buggy suspension. Only problem is that the dxf drawings were drawn on a scale 1:5 and the laser cutters want the drawings 1:1. Is there an easy way to prepare dxf's or dwg's without having to redraw the whole lot?

    Thanks

open the dxf file in autocad. type in "sc" or(SCALE)and hit enter. Select the entire object/enter. Select a base point then type "r" or (Referance)then enter. Then 5/enter/1/enter or the opposite depending on which way you need it scaled. Now type "dxfout"/enter. you can save it over the existing file or rename it as a new file.
