I might have an answer for your axles and CVs. I have zero plunge on my Formula Cross and use 930s and Ford F150 CVs with standard EMPI axles. I love the reliability and ease to find parts if needed.
Just a thought.
I can show you how i did mine if you want.

Wow, 2008 until 2014, 6 years is a long time gap.
Is the new Formula Cross a dead issue now or is it still a work in progress?
I would love to see them back on the tracks.
I have been thinking of re engineering the rear end on one of my formula cross machines. Just to eliminate the plunging axle set up but i have decided that i am trying to fix something that is not broken.
I measured a Drakart Tiger and Alain used the same geometry on the Tiger as the formula cross but the tiger takes the plunge in the CV, about 50mm plunge which is the same as my formula cross. I have been told that the earlier formula cross handles better that the later version which leads me to believe that Hawke designed the later version, not Alain. I guess placing the inner rear arm mounts higher must have lowered the roll center of the car?
Cheers

I don't think he has sold any. He was working on updating some areas he felt lacking, but the economic downturn kinda killed his enthusiasm. The number of people willing to spend that kinda money just aren't there to justify the expense to get it up and running, in my opinion.

Yeah, your right about the economy, it's the same over here. It seems like everyday there is news of yet another company closing down and more people being unemployed.
Not many people can afford "toys" these days!!
