Yes, Bug will be running a set of the new axles to get some time on them before the new car is ready to roll. They will be running at more angle and with more plunge so if they hold up well in his, they will last even longer in the new car.

Actually I have some plans for doing something close to this.
I just dont have the money or shop space to do it right now.

I have Diirks car, my race car, my dual sport, Reds race car, my own play car, my brothers race truck and usually a rhino or side by side up almost every weekend to be worked on.

But Yes I would love to do something like this.

At work I am also talking to the owner to let me maybe do it down there
and see what we can do.
Again times are not the best. We dont have the extra money right now but maybe.
I am trying to sell a couple things to allow me to work on some new things, so we will see.

But thank you for asking and thinking of me.
    I do appreciate that.

    Live wire,
I like the axels and the changes you are making.
I think your totally right on.
We use some pretty darn big slip axels at work and its funny but we have a no actual splines
but rolling balls and behind them a larger area for both grease and air to escape to.
We plunge a lot actually more than the axels were built for so we will be going back to
some simple full floaters for now until the axels can be improved upon.

Anyways sounds like your really going to do this right and that sounds awesome
    I cannot wait.
Keep us posted and keep up the good work.

    Bug,
get to testing those axels so we can see this car built fast!

My axles are like you describe. They have a big air pocket and I'm using maybe an inch or so of plunge. Communication with them took persistence. Lots of emails and phone calls to different people to track down the person who made it happen.

Recently I took the axles to a local shop for new boots and the guy wet his pants drooling everywhere. Oooh! Look how polished those are! Sweet! Nice welding! Your boots suck - try these! *

Okay two of you have managed to piss me off - every time you get on the board anywhere near each other all you do is go at.

Go exchange phone numbers and have your little pissing matches off this site.

Turbo - Get this through your thick head. *This sort of posting is ridiculous. *You put nothing in this thread worth while. *You posted it just to get a reaction and to be an asss. *Yes, I am calling you an ASSS because of your constant attacking of members. *

I was nice last time I had to deal with you and warned you about smart assed responses. *This time, if you decide to make some stupid remark in response, I will ask the management to have you banned from the site. *I can not think of one thread that you've been involved in that's not turned into trash.

Bug - Get over this crap of fueling the fire. *You could have stayed out of this crap with a lot less effort than it took to respond. *Just turn the other cheek and walk away from it.
