I don't have any pix, but what would you like to know about the Coyote? I have a lot of seat time in them - great car. Handling is excellent. They recover from being out of shape very well, they never do anything odd or bad. It's a point and squirt type of drive - to go fast, you drive the back of the car and slide it. FUN TIME MACHINE!

The rear suspension is a modified copy of the Pilot's rear suspension. Jay designed the rear end long travel kit for the Pilot when he was working at ATV Racing. He adapted what he'd done and learned from that system into the Coyote when he went about designing and building it.

The rear system is two transverse lower links, an upper a-arm control link and then one drag link that goes from about middle of the thigh back to the carrier. It induces a small amount of toe as it cycles, increases caster a tad and also does a great job of keeping the foot print quite wide as it droops - the camber changes, keeping the scrub at a minimum. It makes for a very dynamic rear end that is very controllable yet very reactive to what ever it's going over.

The car works well as a desert setup too. We (Jay and I) have discussed the issues of the transverse links being slightly exposed to damage compared to something like a trailing arm, but thus far I don't think any of his cars have suffered link damage.

Give Jay a call at Desert Dog - and make sure you talk to Jay, not John. Jay will tell you all you want to know about the car, John will just try to sell you one...

I am selling my desert dog.

I only used it one and a half dune seasons. I started racing short course in CORR then Lucas, so I have not been to the sand in years.

    Yamaha RX1 no clutch
    every option, except rear wing.

I cant post pics so PM me.
