Yeah, I have a love for them as well. However, if I was asking $10,000 in today's market for a Ridge Runner, I would air up the tires and give the buggy a good washing. I would also throw in a free oil change.

I'm not sure why people some people are tone deaf about these details.

    Exactly!!!

Getting back to the topic, it seems that it's a SxS world these days and we just live in it. If I were buying, instead of building, I would find a Ridge Runner attractive because it's not the same-o same-o that you see every day. Also, it looks a little lower to the ground. My daughter went riding in a Kawasaki . . . something SxS over the weekend and she wasn't too impressed. Every time they went up a steep trail or took a tight turn, she felt like they were going to roll over.

Of course, something like that wouldn't happen with K-Fab's new buggy. If it ever tipped to the side, he would just put it through a barrel-roll and keep on going!

    AHAHAHAHAAAHAAA!!!!!
I can't count the number of times I've come back to rest on the wheels, looked about, wiggled the steering to make sure it's still working and then mashed on the fun pedal! Both endo and rolls - probably about even in number.

I'm happier when your got a cage around you. Over the handle bars again is more for younger folk.
All dressed up and waiting for the beer to arrive.

I agree with the old saying, with age comes a cage. To old to be messing with anything where I can go over the handle bars. I have a 06 RR in my stable and its ok. I agree that it gets the looks cause its not the cookie cutter SxS. That said the power plant is mediocre in the dunes. I also have an Xrail that could use more power, but don't want to go the way of the SxS as I don't want to sit in it like I am driving a car.

But I agree with you guys, it your going to try and get more then 5K for the the thing, wash it, air it and freshen it up. I was shocked at the 10K price tag. And the one in Central Oregon is also 9k+ asking. Not sure where these owners think there gonna find a buyer for that price. Most non-mini buggy enthusiasts are going to get a Rzr or Maverick for that price.
