    These work really well too - and you can use them on body panels for a little bling.

    When I was a kid I watched my uncle do this on his lathe.
    He chucked up a piece of thin wall tube and then stuck the other end with the live center.
    Then he took a torch and focused the heat in one spot while the tube spun.
    When it was cherry red he cranked the live center in and wolla!
