    Hayabusa wiring question

will the stock wiring harness support an aftermarket fuel pump, bosch 044?
While I'm asking wiring questions, I have 2 others, how do I bypass the kickstand switch? I was told this is a simple jumper but I don't want to just cut it out and connect the wires without some consensus
how do I bypass the tip over switch? currently it is in gooped up with silicone, I'd like to remove it and start cleaning up my wiring.
    Thanks

The stock pumps draws around 7 amps, while the 044 can pull 12-20, especially when under high pressure. I would run a set of 12 gauge wires straight to the pump to prevent voltage loss.

I believe the stock wires are 14 gauge.

The tip over sensor takes a 6800 ohm resistor between 2 wires, but I have been using a 4700 ohm since my original bit the bullet.

The kick stand sensor is supposed to have a diode. Most people directly jumper the two together, but I chose to use the diode. It will only work in 1 direction. The diode may be for reverse voltage protection, or to prevent another circuit from triggering a false positive, but it isn't explained anywhere.

There should be a thread somewhere on here regarding those electrical modifications in detail.

Thanks for the input, I think I'll be running a separate relay to power up the pump.
I'll try to dig up a 6800 ohm resister
do you know which direction the diode faces? I guess I'll be using the search when I get a chance

The ecu drives a relay for the stock pump too. The 12v hoy to the pump is a yellow wire with a red tracer. Replace the relay and wiring for the new pump. The signal from the ecu can stay.

I'll look up the diode direction when I get a chance to pull out the wiring diagram again.

My current plan is to just use the relay that normally powers the stock pump to energize the new higher amp relay. I know it is just adding more stuff to remove but I need to do something quickly for now.
