Good day everyone,
i am in process to build a harness for my mini truck car ( busa gen 2 engine) and i want to know if the stock stator wattage will hold or not, my setup will be as following:
2x spal fans (108 W ) each
2x head light 7" circular ( 50 W) each
1x welbro 255lph fuel pump ( unknown power )
2x led tail lights integrated with turning signals ( unknown W)
1x wiper motor
1x horn
what is the best way to wire, direct from battery > fuse > relay > load OR take the main circuit feeder from ignition switch?
I have little dought in regards of electrical load and stock stator capabilities
thanks in advance

I had a hard time running just a fan with the ignition on my gen 1. Add in two 25 watt led lights, and it was tapped. When I ran the 50 watt lights as well, I charged up at camp each ride, and it was good for an hour or so.
I have since put an alternator on my rpm box, running 2.5 to 1.
I have an 8 gauge wire running from the battery to the dash, which has a fuse block, and all the relays. The alternator is in the back of the car, but another 8 gauge wire runs to the battery from it.
Basically I have a pair of 8 gauge wires running from the dash to the alternator, and the battery is just tapped into the middle
Forgot to mention, I do a lot of cruising at lower revs, 5-7k rpm, which reduces the output of the busa.Proud owner of a two seat pucker-mobile. Funco inspired mini buggy powered by a Busa. Giving out free rides to anyone brave enough.

Think busa stator is good to about 20A, 250 watts. The factory plastic plug loves to melt. You can get get upgraded one to boost that up some

Tanks allot guys for inputs, so i am thinking to attach car alternator to my setup, but i need any suggestions for the alternator prime mover, what do you think the best way from the 4 choices i am thinking to go for :
1- alternatorhayabusa kit
2-tompro kit
3- pulley to cv joint to alternator with belt
4- 12v dc motor Drives the alternator with belt with higher ratio depends on motor rpm will make the pulleys ( this setup i am thinking at now) switching the 12dc motor from extra battery then feed both battries from the alternator, the drawbacks of this system that the amparage of the motor will be around 30 amps and the alternator will be high amps like 100amps, so i can get around 60 amps including the losses ( any body tried this setup before?)
guys your feedback and inputs will be highly recommended and appreciated
thanks in advance

zx12, I run
40" LED bar
4-4" LED pods
1-14" fan on rad
1-8" fan on oil cooler
plus whatever the fuel inj and pump take.
Using a 925 battery.
No problems stock charging, but its a couple amps higher than busa.

Nice setup studio,
i will go to this route if you provide me the way how to do this setup, it shown that you attach the pylley to starter clutch output shaft, studio can you provide me what parts and hardware required for this setup? Such as adaptor, bolt length and pulley size with the ratio to alternator, thanks in advance
