Good stuff there Stress I expesh liked the youtube cable shorting Vid . Holy gunsmoke Batman LOL . I think Ill just try solder instead

But a good vid though I always wondered how ya solder the ends on a cable without melting the ends

Three thoughts:

I want a set of those snippers! He just cut through both the cable AND the housing with them!!!

Second - he's using a candle for a heat source? No kidding? I wonder how long that sat under his little solder cup.

The bullet part looks a little spooky to me , when I saw it.

When I was racing Shifter Karts I got lead shot (little lead B-Bs) a gun shop that I filled my frame rails with. So lead shot could be one source of lead if you are having problems finding lead.
