To step away from the drive train on this, they erroneously call for using 3/4" tubing with a 1.050" outside diameter....tubing is measured by its outside diameter and not inside. Pipe is measured by its inside diameter. So am I supposed to use tubing or black pipe for the cage and A-arms? Pipe is malleable and heavier (generally) compared to tubing.

The Shredder II plans use pipe for the upper roll cage. I also recall a conversation with the owner of the local Metal Supermarket franchise and he stated that black pipe is stronger than most people think.
However, if it were me, I would just go with 1" tubing. Tubing is more common than pipe on these builds and adjusting between 1" and 1.05" outer diameter shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Yeah that's what I'll do. Nothing should really change, maybe be a bit lighter as well. Contemplating on using the polyurethane bushings or just go with heim joints for the inner a-arm. Outer front calls for heim joints.

Heim joint or delren bushings. Poly is way to soft and will allow for to much movement in the arms.

Interesting that they would recommend those bushings for the buggy builds, except I think for the Megalodon/2.

Would it be worth switching the front end design of using trailer stub axles and hubs for ATV/UTV hubs that have disc or drum brakes to have front and rear brakes, instead of just having a single rear disc brake?

Any suggestions on what quad or UTV to get hubs from that's two wheel drive? Would it also be better to go with an OEM style or is there a better aftermarket option?

Hmmmmm....
I don’t know quads well enough to even begin to give advise on that (I run away from those wretched machines!) and a 2wd UTV, uh... What about that small single seat RZR? It it 4x4?
Maybe one of the utility UTVs?

Only 2wd UTVs I know of are the Odysseys, John Deere Gators, and some flavors of the Kawasaki Mules. I believe the latter uses more or less a MacPherson strut type suspension up front.
