Yes That's the buggy!!!. Cole, Just do what you can. Ask all the question you like. The other guys can help you better than I can. I haven't posted much here but some of these guys are down right good. Keep the pictures coming.

Alright everyone! The project is moving a bit slowly due to lack of funds but here is a quick update. We got the rack and tie rods mounted and it appears that we have 0 bump steer! We also made a good start on the role cage. Going back to my question about the engine, it sounds like we might be using a v6 off of a crashed 98 Ford Ranger with 70,000 miles on it. Will it be hard to get it to run out of the original vehicle? I included some pictures below.

UPDATE: So we decided not to use the ford engine. Our parents dont know anything about this hobby and I think they got really scared when they heard about it. For now we are using a modded 420cc lifan engine. We will be running a CVT to a hi-mid-low-reverse gear box. We have made lots of progress including seats, roll cage and steering. I will post pictures within a couple days once im home. Right now i'm stuck in vegas due to cancelled flights

cole I have'nt seen your thread before. I built a sabertooth 2 lt. and the front a arms inner pivot points are exact opposite of what you have . mine by design, have the upper pp wider than the lower pp. yours are wider on the bott.than the top. my buggy drives straight and handles well and Im concerned that the way yours is it will not . check out others builds and note most all will be opposite of what you have.after all the hard work you dont want it to handle like a turd.

The reason that they are offset the way they are is because the atv hubs we are using have the same offset. because of this both the upper and lower a-arms are the same length. I will take pictures this weekend and post them. Thanks for your concern!
