    A bit more progress
I really wanted to avoid mouting the original subframe, but remaking the 5 link mounts in the right spot was just too hard. Only way I could think of doing it was making a hugely complicated jig over the old subframe that disassembled (because it had to to get the original subframe out), then rebuilding a new rear end over the top. Instead I used the old subframe that I put on a diet. Removed the front cross member, drilled a few holes, Ended up taking a lot longer than I thought but it came up OK.

Mounting has proved to be difficult. I'm still not totally happy with it, and need to add some more tubes. They are complicated notches and need to be perfect, so I've had to re make a few tubes 2 or 3 times to get it right. Its infuriating

It wouldn't pose any reward if it was easy.
    Everybody would have one.
Take your time think each piece through and by the time your done. You'll have a bad ass car that you love to show everybody, except those issuing speeding violations....

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I think I'm still getting used to the fact I cut a corner and used an existing part. I'm not used to that, hahah

Ok, now i'm starting to get into body shapes. There is this rendering on the web and I'm in love with it. Trying to decide if its worth all the extra work and if I can make it fit... I'm thinking it could be worth it. Obviously just use it for inspiration, the high exhaust would have to go, and I'd need to add flares over the wheels to get through registration. Still... its a fine looking car!

I have made some more progress. Work was flat out for the first half of this year so really didn't get much further
Engine mounts, front suspension mounts, and much of the rear end structure are now in.
