After watching some of the videos from the site rorty posted earlier showing some stadium lites " lite racing[/url:1lmyeky4]." *I believe any racer should have to have a fire suppression system on board. Too many of the potential tracks don't have the equipment or the personnel to get to you fast enough to help you in case there is a fire. Here are the results of a google search, and some of the systems aren't too expensive.

The primary question I would have is how big of a system, how many nozzles, and where should the nozzles cover?

There should be a nozzle for the engine, fuel tank, any maybe electrical or anything that gets hot, or could cause a spark. Would a 5lb bottle be enough?
