Wonder how long before someone comes out with a dual clutch transmission in a bike?

Pretty neat stuff. *Seems like the clutches would be getting pretty toasty in crossover though.

Yeah, you definitely don't want both engaged at one time. I saw this a few months ago, and more cars are coming with it.

It wouldn't end up much larger than a conventional bike clutch. It would be ideal for cruisers and tourers, but I doubt if the street hoons would appreciate such a smoothe gear change - how would they fan the clutch and pop wheelies? *[smilie=biggrin.gif] It would be great for our buggies though with a couple of buttons on the steering wheel for up and down changes.
