Does anyone have and experience with replacing the stock fuel level sender with an aftermarket generic sender? I'm installing a ZX14 motor in my buggy and the stock sender has a strange physical configuration that would make it difficult to install in my fuel tank. I'd really like to keep the fuel level indicator in the stock ZX cluster.

Take an Ohm meter and get the full and empty readings. Then call these guys http://www.centroidproducts.com/

These are the same ones Fuel Safe uses for about half the price.

You can also get it with a low level light output.

Thanks bdkw1 for the great information on fuel level senders from Centroid Products. They should be able to hook me up with the right unit.

I think the ZX14 will be even a better power plant than a Hayabusa for a mini buggy. Its transmission and clutch are extremely beefy and it makes better torque and total horsepower. I'll have to fabricate a custom airbox for it since the frame of the motorcycle provides the airbox normally, but I think the airbox of the hayabusa is inadequate for an off road car anyway.

Thanks Again!

Dude you are absolutely correct the only proper way to correct the stock airbox issue is actually pretty simple step

1. install turbo header
2. bolt on turbo...
3. install K&N filter

...he he he problem solved.....TO THE DUNES!!!!!
